MTV's The Grind taught a generation how to dance and we're keeping your booty shaking and hands waving as we bring that energy to Downtown Tampa at GenX Tavern every Saturday Night! The Grind features some of Tampa's best DJ's like DJ Chris Craze, Matt The Bratt, DJ Matt Dodge and more spinning an uptempo party mix of classic 80s and 90s jams mashed up with some current pop hits.

The best music AND the best movies came from our generation so it's only right that we dedicate a night to showing some classic films from the 80s and 90s at GenX Tavern! Every Sunday night come get freepopcorn and discounted food and drinks while watching the flicks that pushed the comedic envelope and created some of the most iconic lines that we still reference today! Weekly showtime is 7pm as the movies are projected onto our wall-size screen.

Went here for drinks with friends and the fried pickles were amazing! The DJ was playing great music and the atmosphere is fun and lively. The server was attentive and nice.
